Waitrose has revealed that it is using a new Transaction Performance Monitoring (TPM) system in order to grow capacity within its online grocery delivery business.  The new programme, delivered by Precise, will help the retailer to increase the number of customers it services, in line with growing demand.

Bharat Chavda, IT project leader at Waitrose, commented: "Our challenge was to increase performance by 35 per cent to handle the level of increased customer visits.  By using Precise TPM, we were able to drastically improve performance without a commensurate increase in our costs.  Precise will play a key role in helping us to stay ahead of demand."
