Frozen food transport and storage company ACS&T Logistics has secured a three year contract with foodservice company 3663.  This is an extension of an existing long-term relationship between the two parties and will see ACS&T continue to provide a National Consolidation Service (NCS) from its depot in Wolverhampton.

Carl Robinson, Sales and Commercial Director of ACS&T said: "We began running the service from our Grimsby depot with a few suppliers in 1994, and since then, the service has grown tremendously. As a commitment to the success of the scheme, we opened a more central depot in Wolverhampton in 2008 to make the service viable for more suppliers by potentially reducing the primary movement of their stock.

"We also appointed a dedicated Supplier Service Co-ordinator to work with 3663 and its suppliers to ensure maximum availability of stocks to satisfy orders. In short, everything is geared towards supporting 3663 suppliers and working with them to avoid costly shortages for both them and 3663. Thanks to the success of the scheme, we now work with over 110 suppliers and 1,500 different product lines."
