Lidl UK makes a loss

Lidl UK has reported £6.9bn in revenue for the 12 months to 29th February 2020. Despite recording a record number of shoppers into stores, the retailer also reported a pre-tax loss of £25.2m. This is due to the significant investment it has made in its estate. £1.3bn investment planned by 2023…
